What a great time I had interviewing Dr. Mary Rockwood Lane! This dynamic woman is a painter, a dancer, a beekeeper; a teacher, author,  international speaker and leader in the field of arts in healthcare–and she is passionate about helping people find the path to their own creative expression.  We talked about how she helped begin the world renowned Arts in Medicine program at Shands/UF Healthcare at the University of Florida, and about her latest book, Healing With the Arts:  A 12 Week Program to Heal Yourself and Your Community. I learned about the part music played in her early life, and we did a spontaneous musical guided imagery exercise on the air.
