I first heard of his work in a wonderful videotape (remember those?) called “Of Sound, Mind and Body” which was produced by Jeff Volk around 1990. It included interviews and demonstrations of healing music/sound being used by everyone from Aborigines and African shamans to music therapists in cancer hospitals. Several pioneers of the Sound and Healing movement, such as Don Campbell, Kay Gardner, and Jonathan Goldman, were featured.
I spoke with Jonathan and Andi on the cusp of their Annual Sound Healing Intensive held in Colorado, attended by participants from all over the world for nearly twenty years. They shared wonderful stories from the Intensive, as well as the story of how they met and came to combine their work. You’ll hear about all that, enjoy your own moments of healing sounds, and be intrigued by our conversation about chakras, energy, and the yin and yang of sound and silence. Click on the link below!
It was a thrill to interview these world renowned sound healing pioneers. Jonathan Goldman has been a hero of mine for more than twenty years!
Thank you, Megha Morganfield (www,meghasongs.com), for this wonderful connection!
